HRMC Foundation Healthcare Scholarship Deadline April 6

Area high school and college students are encouraged to apply for up to $7,000 in healthcare scholarships ... but hurry, the deadline is April 6!

Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC) Foundation is pleased to announce $7,000 in scholarship funds to promote careers in healthcare in the Huron area, according to Paul Rann, HRMC Foundation executive director.

“Our goal is to encourage individuals to further their education while pursuing a career in a healthcare field,” said Rann. “Again this year, the program will include scholarships for graduating high school seniors with the intention of pursuing a healthcare-related major.

Up to $7,000 in scholarship funds are available in two categories: High School Seniors and College Students. Actual scholarship award amounts will be determined by the scholarship committee. Scholarship applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018. Recipients will be notified in May.

“The HRMC Foundation board feels it is important to support as many students who are interested in various healthcare careers as possible,” said Rann. “Ensuring that the Huron area continues to have high-quality, dedicated healthcare staff is a top priority for the supporters of the HRMC Foundation and we are dedicated to supporting that goal.”
