HRMC Foundation Humanitarian Golf Tournament Set for September 12
The 21st annual Humanitarian Golf Tournament, presented by the Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC) Foundation, is set for Saturday, September 12, 2020. Although the rate of positive COVID-19 cases has slowed in our area, the need to maintain social distancing continues. Additional precautions will be taken to keep participants safe.
This year's fun-filled event will be a four-person scramble with a wide variety of pin prizes. The cost is $350 for a four-person team and includes green fees, cart, and four complimentary meals, a sack lunch and dinner.
Changes to reflect social distancing guidelines will be made, including staggered tee teams rather than a shotgun start and a different look to the awards ceremony and dinner. The tournament will get underway at 9:00 am at Broadland Creek National Golf Course. Teams can reserve their tee time by calling the course at 605-353-8525.
More details are available online at www.hrmcfoundation.org, by calling the Broadland Creek National Golf Course or HRMC Foundation office at 605-353-6315.
The purpose of the HRMC Foundation is to anticipate and meet the ever-changing needs of our regional system of health care. HRMC Foundation continues the important work of supporting HRMC to provide the highest quality care possible close to home. Additionally, to support the health and wellbeing of our community members, we make investments in people, technology, and community wellness projects. The Humanitarian Golf Tournament is one of two major fundraising events that support the Foundation's efforts – and, ultimately, health care in the area.
