Prostrollo Motor Sales Cancer Walk Raises Nearly $3,000

The 5th Annual One-Mile Walk for Breast Cancer, hosted by Prostrollo Motor Sales on October 15, 2021, raised $2,841.57 to aid in early detection and breast cancer awareness in Huron.

More than 150 walkers took a lap around Ravine Lake on a sunny October day to help raise awareness and funds. Walk registrations, donations and raffle ticket sales contributed to the total which benefits the HRMC Foundation We’ve Got You Covered fund. This year, funds from all of the breast cancer awareness events are being used to help offset the costs of Huron Regional Medical Center’s new 3D mammography.

“We are so thankful for John and the team at Prostrollo for their hard work in organizing this event each year,” said Shawn Martin, HRMC Foundation executive director. “A big thank you to all the walkers and businesses who stepped to support the event this year.”
