HHS Volleyball Team Raises $1,700 Plus to Fight Breast cancer

Players and fans bought t-shirts and participated in a first-ever silent auction to raise $1,719 to provide free mammograms to women in need in our community.

HHS volleyball players sold nearly 500 “Refuse to Lose” shirts, hosted a silent auction and honored breast cancer survivors at a game October 15 raising more than $1,700 to provide free mammograms for women in need. Large and extra-large shirts are available at the Nordby Center at the discounted price of $8. The HRMC Foundation is grateful to the team, those who purchased shirts, silent auction item donors and purchasers and all of the supporters of the We’ve Got You Covered fund. Information about the program and free mammograms is available online at www.huronregional.org/mammo.
